What.s our philosophy on returns?
Although we do strive to ensure everyone is happy with their selections, we understand that things happen. The product is not what you expected, it doesn.t give the look you were after, the wife found out how much you really bought at Licks this time around. (This one happens more often than you would think). The long and short of it is sometimes you guys need to return things. That being said, the reality is we have to associate some cost to the return process as it burns up a great deal of resources in the office and the warehouse. How do you return an item and what is the cost?
Items must be returned, freight prepaid, uninstalled with a pre-approved RMA# for credit within 30 days less a 20% Re-Stock Fee. Shipping charges are not credited. This policy applies to all returns . no exceptions.
The RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) authorization may be obtained by calling the shop at 413-663-9050 or E-mailing us here. No part can be returned without our approval and without obtaining a return number. (Customer must fully insure and prepay shipping on all approved items for return). Licks will not be responsible for any items being returned that are lost, stolen or damaged.
All merchandise must be inspected upon receipt by the customer and any discrepancies, defects or shortages must be reported to Licks Custom Cycles® no later than 48 hours after reception. All accepted returns are subject to a 20% Re-Stock Fee. All accepted returns after 30 days are for store credit only. Shipping costs to clients and 20% restocking fee are always deducted from credit. A credit or replacement of merchandise will be made at the discretion of Licks Custom Cycles®.
When replacement is accepted, it will be limited to parts only and doesn.t include labor claims. The (RMA) code is provided to ensure that your request is handled and processed both quickly and efficiently. Therefore, it is important that this number be printed on the outside of the package being returned. This will expedite the process and allow us to correct the problem more efficiently.
When will I receive my refund?
Credits will be issued after the warehouse receives, inspects and process your return, which can take up to 5 business days. Once inspection is complete we will issue the refund. Credit card refunds can take up to 72 hours to reflect on your statement. How to contact Licks for a return
