Welcome to Greasy Kulture magazine. If you have visited our friends at www.greasykulture.com you'll have some idea of what to expect: Traditionally-styled, low and loud down and dirty choppers and hot rods. Along with a sidelong glance at some of the cool stuff that makes our world go round: vintage stuff, books, mags, music, tattoos, get-togethers.

Gloss means nothing here; innovation and style do. We favour the home-built over the shop built, the greasy stuff over the show stuff. But if it's got integrity and class, wherever it is in the world, it won't escape the attention of the Greasy Kulture vultures.....

Everyone seems to be talking about choppers these days. There are tv programs about them, glossy magazines about them; they're becoming sanitary, trinket laden, shiny, safe - all those things they were originally built as a reaction against.

Choppers are big business. Yet there's still a core of builders and riders who championed minimalist values of the stripped-down custom long before it became mainstream; before choppers and hot rods became cable tv fodder.

This magazine is dedicated to them!!
