The pipes sound awesome. They give the bike a real aggressive rumble. Getting the pipes, however, turned into a fiasco. They arrived later than scheduled (shipped US Postal). A bracket kit from Paughco was included in the shipment, but the kit was missing various parts. I am extremely disappointed with how things turned out. I guess I should be grateful I even got what I ordered in this case.

We are sorry for the shipping issue. We use (US Postal) for hundreds of orders a month and those items are shipped all over the world. We have only had a handful of problems over the last three years and unfortunately yours was one of them. We have had many more issues with UPS mixing up or mis-delivering packages, so we opt to use the postal service whenever possible. Although we do recognize it is frustrating when these things occur, we have very little control over the item once it is shipped (regardless of the method used). Recognizing your disappointment and inconvenience, we have refunded the entire shipping cost of your order.

With regards to the kit missing any parts, we do not unpackage exhaust pipes when they come from the manufacturer. We were unaware that there was anything missing in the way of hardware. If you had called the shop and let us know, we would certainly have contacted the manufacturer directly and acquired the missing parts for you.

Almost 17k miles and these pipes are still the best!!! Only a slight blueing at the head, no rust, and all the looks! Loud pipes save lives...
The only problem incountered is limited use of saddle bags. BUT, it's a Sportie, not a bagger.

As I explained before V-Twin needs the original exhaust returned before they can process a replacement order. (which they are more than willing to do). If you can provide any documentation from the post office that could assist in tracking this item down, we will go out of our way to resolve this problem. If we do not have any record of the shipment going to V-Twin it is difficult for us to help you track down where the shipment ended up or process this claim any further.

payed $379.00 .yes, i got a set of pipes. looked great!! put, them on my sportster
, in 1 hrs. turn black!!!!!!. aj said send them to, v-twin, i will get new set, 5 mos i got shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. i will go to d.a. for my money back.

We understand that manufacturer defects can occur in products that we distribute. We have no control over the quality control processes used by our manufactures. The plain fact of the matter is, we called the manufacturer and secured a return authorization number so you could return the pipes for a new set. Unfortunately, Licks Cycles cannot pursue this claim any further on your behalf until the manufacturer receives the original pipes back from you (As of right now they have received no such item).

*If you would like us to complete our obligation, you must provide them with the original defective product to receive a replacement. TJ

HOOOYAAAA. These pipes are OUTRAGEOUS! They have a sound all their own. Straight pipes are notoriousley loud, but these don't quite take your head off like staggared shorties do. Yet they still give a sound like a smallblock with glass packs. Gotta love that back rapp. Try'em. You're gonna love'em.
