We have recently had a large influx of customers requesting tracking numbers for their orders immediately after placing the order. 

FOR THE RECORD- Please be advised that “In-Stock” items will be processed and shipped 24-48 hours after receipt of your order.   Please also keep in mind that in consideration of our families, we do not work weekends and we try not to work holidays.  Therefore, if you place an order at 5 pm on Friday it will not hit the receiving department until Monday morning and may not ship until Tuesday.  Therefore, if you call on Monday morning at 8 am asking for a tracking number, it is just not reasonable for us to have this information available for you. 

UPDATE- We are currently working on implementation of a tracking system that will notify our customers automatically via-email of the tracking number once it has been processed through our warehouse and physically shipped. More to come on this in the near future…..stay tuned

We understand that people are anxious to get their product and we do our best to get things out the door as quickly and efficiently as possible.  For those who are unaware, we hand pack all our outgoing packages….why do we do this?   We hand inspect and pack all outgoing items to ensure that the item is free of defects/damage when it leaves the warehouse, we confirm the details of your order to make sure you get exactly what you ordered and finally we hand package your order to ensure it arrives at you doorstep damage free.

Dogbone risers, you’ve seen them on springer front ends since the birth of the springer. Well, how about a dogbone riser for the glide guys? Licks has made it happen once again. That’s right; you can now have a dogbone riser on your standard glide front end.

The Licks Dogbone riser is designed with 3-1/2″ center to center spacing so that it easily bolts up to the stock tree. Once the riser is installed, use your own clamp either on straight or offset from the riser. Don’t like the stock? Choose a new set of clamps and bars available from Licks to complete the package.

Let’s face it, using dogbones and clamp style risers not only looks kick ass, but it gives you unlimited adjustability in the risers and bars. You can rake forward and backwards with either the clamp risers or the bar to individually tune in the feel to your particular taste and preference.

Licks is back from the road!!

We are back in the office from our brief outing.  If anyone has been waiting patiently for our return to  have questions answered regarding parts etc.  Please drop us a line.  We want to thank everyone for their patience while we were out of town…

We just received our first shipment of Licks baseball hats with the new Logo.  We are offering them in two styles, a solid back and a mesh back.    Both styles feature a high quality embroidered logo on the front panel and cloth Velco adjustment straps in the back for a one size fits all application.  The solid back cap and the mesh back “trucker cap” are both low profile for a nice clean fit.

Jon shot us some pics of his recently completed custom sporty,  loaded with Licks Parts and accessories.  Jon’s bike  includes to following parts from our store- Black Sparto, Model A Taillight Assembly with the signature FU lens, Licks Chop Shop rear fender, Slimline Solo Seat, our Hardtail Struts and a the Licks 3″ round mini mirror to finish it off.  Great job Jon..thanks for the pics.

Ok here it is…..the deal of the century for all you do it a home bike builders. A complete selection of straight and mandrel-bent high-strength steel tubing, practically anyone with a hacksaw and a welder could make into some seriously cool one off pipes. If the focal point for your next bike includes handcrafting an original custom exhaust system for less than $200, the Biltwell Builder Exhaust Kit will get you started.

WHAT’S HERE: The Biltwell Builder Exhaust Kit is exactly what its name implies: a selection of pre-fabbed tubing, header flanges and exhaust tips that puts the art of custom exhaust building in the hands of backyard fabricators. Each Builder Exhaust Kit includes the following:

Two 16-inch-long (350mm) straight sections
Two 3.5-inch radius (90mm) U-bends with straights
Two 5-inch radius 134mm) U-bends with straights
Two Evolution cylinder flanges
Two Shovelhead cylinder flanges
Two Ironhead cylinder flanges
Two fishtail tips

In other words, everything you need to build a set of pipes for one bike, with enough scraps left over to start on two more. If you’re clever—and assuming your stable of projects includes the right combination of Harley motors—you could build three sets of pipes for less than 300 dollars. All it would take is a visit to the local muffler shop for a couple more feet of 1-3/4-inch steel tubing.

WHAT’S MISSING: This kit doesn’t include mounting tabs. You can fabricate these out of flat stock, or buy some at any good industrial hardware store. Snap rings and exhaust flange collars for Evo’s and Shovelheads are not included. You can pick these up at any swap meet or local shop.

SURFACE FINISH: All raw tube sections are pre-polished to make chroming after joint finishing easier. Of course, the welded joints will require polishing if you expect a show-quality appearance, but most customers simply paint their pipes or wrap them with hot-rod header tape.

The Biltwell Seat Pan is stamped from heavy gauge high-tensile steel and features ribs and indents for added rigidity and stiffness. The four threaded mounting bosses are TIG welded into position and the entire seat pan is powdercoated for beauty and weatherproofing.

The foam solo seat insert is custom-molded, medium-density polyurethane padding—not a shapeless wedge of open-cell foam. What’s the difference? Ask your junk that question after a 150-mile ride. The Biltwell molded foam will hold its shape long after the cheap padding inside most solo seats has compressed into oblivion.
