From the directors of the award-winning motorcycle movies “Choppertown: the Sinners” and “Brittown” comes a new motorcycle fabrication adventure.
Two years in the making, The Harbortown Bobber follows the ground-up build of Scott DiLalla’s ‘69 bobber as various back yard masters put their hands on it creating a unique custom motorcycle, showing their techniques and telling their own personal stories along the way.
Guaranteed to make you go out back and fire up the welder!

We would like to introduce a true professional in the graphic arts arena. Brett Logan has worked closely with Licks on many of our marketing projects and we would recommend his services to anyone looking to spruce up their corporate image without having to mortgage your house to do so.
Brett is a freelance graphic designer who specializes in logo design/corporate identity and awesome print work. We have been fortunate to work with him and feel he is a solid asset to our marketing efforts both online and in print.
Brett provides affordable graphic design to businesses that prefer not to hire an agency or refuse to dish out $100+ an hour for agency rate. If you would like to know more about Brett’s work, take a few minutes to check out Logan Design Works Blogfolio. If you see anything that grabs your attention, have him take a look at a project for your business….Tell him Licks sent you!!! Once in awhile you see an action so appalling by the police that you just can’t contain your disbelief at their stupidity…………..from where I’m sitting that bike clearly has a properly attached side mount license plate and clearly visible directional lights.

Licks 10″ SG-short shocks are now available! It has been five years since we re-vamped our short shock line. This time around we pulled out all the stops and developed a simple, high performance, bullet proof shock system. These 2G-Shorties will not only give your bike that illusive bad ass low ride stance, but will also deliver the most comfortable ride available in a custom shock. The 2G short shocks are unmatched in their class for handling, performance and overall ride satisfaction.
As we all know, over time, technology and innovation improve. Shock materials evolve, better spring rates are engineered and improvements are made to the valve systems. These combined design breakthroughs result in significant improvements to quality and overall ride performance.
The Licks 2G-Short Shocks are 10” eye to eye and have been specifically engineered with a universal spring load which can smoothly handle riders from 150 to 325+ lbs. They also feature adjustable rating to attain softer or stiffer ride response to match your preference (spanner wrench included).
The Licks 2G- Short Shocks will give your bike an attitude and performance unmatched in the industry. Go Low with the SG Shorties!!!

Our friend Walter from Kick Start Cycles has pulled off the third annual Gypsy run which stopped for a scheduled overnight in Pownel Vermont. The plan was to pull into the old abandoned Green Mountain Dog Racing Track after a long day on the road for a little camping and relaxing. Unfortunately, the weather here in the Berkshires was uncooperative as usual. We watched rider after rider pull into the track with a wet ass and a smile, glad to finally be able to dismount from a hard day of riding in the rain. We heard more than one “RAIN SUCKS”…. comment, but the mood was light and everyone piled inside of the abandoned field house to dry off and slam back a few brews. Bill from Biltwell Inc and I jumped behind the abandoned bar, plugged up the stainless steel sinks, filled them with ice and opened up for business with complimentary beer from Licks and Pizza from Biltwell Inc. All was well with the world, we drank, we ate and shot the shit with old friends we haven’t seen in awhile and had the opportunity to meet some new people as well. All in all a successful DRY evening. We wish everyone on the Gypsy run a safe journey as they continue along their way tomorrow and look forward to seeing the gang again next year……
