Ordered this helmet in March with advertised expected shipping in July. The window was then expanded to July-August. I emailed the company on September 1st inquiring about expected shipping date. AJ replied and stated a manufacturer problem had delayed delivery and they would be issuing a 15% refund to those who decided to wait for the helmet. I decided to request a refund. It is now 3 weeks later and I haven't received a refund or any replies to my emails inquiring about my refund. I was left with no other option but to open a claims with PayPal and the Better Business Bureau. DO NOT ORDER THIS HELMET.

*UPDATE: 10/10/17 After more than 30 days after my request for a refund I am still left with no resolution.

Never got my product, no response from company October 3, 2017

Pretty sure this company is some sort of scam. It's been 3 months since my helmet was supposed to ship, never got it. Customer service is non existent, no one will get back to you. I requested a refund and heard nothing. Now going through my credit card company. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this "company".

As others below have said,  I ordered a NOVDOT in April, and read that they’d be shipping July/August... fine no problem, I have patience.
Well, it’s October 1st, several phone calls and emails later- no response. I filed a PayPal inquiry, no response.
I have finally had to make a claim with PayPal as I can’t just dump $109 (with shipping) into the world and not care about it.
Thanks for nothing Licks, really would have enjoyed owning one of these seemingly nice helmets. Fingers crossed I can actually get my money back.
This is my first time dealing with Licks Cycles, I won’t bother in the future.

No response from customer service September 20, 2017

Placed an order for this helmet in April of this year.  At the time there was a message stating any orders placed after December 2016 would ship in July 2017.  Now that message says July or August.  It is now the end of August and no ship notification received or any updates from customer service.  Sent 4 emails with no response.  My advice would be do not order these until some kind of shipping update is released.
UPDATE-  it is now almost the end of September and after zero communication from Licks on all the emails and PayPal inquiries that I sent I open a PayPal complaint ang got my refund.  Unless you like someone taking your money and not shipping your items I highly recommend to find somewhere else to order from as these guys have demonstrated they are not a reliable business.

I am trying to contact customer service about the order I placed in early January. I understand that this is the month they will turn around orders but I have still not gotten any info on if this helmet shipped or is even coming?! The phone number is not working and I am waiting on an email. I'm sorry this is not a helmet review but should be good to know. Last time I tried to call I got an email saying they were going to be out of office?
